1. Our commitment
Readeroo is built for young children. We design our products to collect only what is needed for learning and to be transparent with parents and educators.
2. This website
The Readeroo marketing website is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children on this site.
The waitlist asks for an adult's email address. Optional fields (name, role) should be provided by a parent, carer, or educator — not by a child.
3. The Readeroo app (overview)
Inside the app, we may process:
- Voice audio — to provide pronunciation feedback and fluency practice. Audio is used for learning, not for advertising.
- Learning progress — to enforce mastery-based progression and show parents/educators how a child is doing.
- Story choices — characters and topics a child selects for AI-generated stories.
Full app privacy details will be provided in the app and updated here before public launch.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell children's data
- We do not show behavioural advertising to children in the app
- We do not require a child to create a public profile
5. Parental control
Parents and carers should supervise app setup and use, especially for younger children. Contact us to ask about data access or deletion: hello@readeroo.kids.
6. International families
Readeroo launches in English-speaking markets first. We aim to comply with applicable children's privacy laws, including COPPA (US) and UK GDPR requirements, as they apply to our product.
7. Updates
We will update this page as the app nears launch and features are finalised.
